About NSTC
The NIE Student Teachers’ Club’s foremost duty is to safeguard and enhance the interests of its student-teacher members. The Club achieves this by: promoting vibrancy on campus for a safe and lively environment that student-teachers feel at home in; organising events that lend a sense of vibrancy and active student life; and refining initiatives that care for the needs and wants of student-teachers in NIE. The Club also functions as the core vessel of communication between the students, subsidiary clubs, and NTU-NIE administration. Regardless of race, language, religion, and other lines of divide, the NSTC takes pride in upholding equal treatment and equality for all student-teachers in NIE.

NSTC is the main constituent club of NIE with 10 Subsidiary Clubs under its purview. They are the AI in Education Chapter, Chinese Language Education and Research (CLEAR) Club, Club ArNex, Club Jeux, Club Sci·Napse, Food and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Club, Malay Language and Cultural Society (MLCS), Physical Education and Sports Science (PESS) Club, Service Learning Club (SLC), and the Tamil Language Club (TLC). NSTC and its Subsidiary Clubs embody the whole landscape of student life in NIE.

The 32nd NSTC Management Committee was elected on 9th September 2022 and sworn into office on 21st September 2022, witnessed by NIE student teachers, faculty, and staff, and Associate Professor Liu Woon Chia, Dean of Teacher Education. Thirteen members of the Management Committee were elected into office, with five members subsequently appointed to office.
Chionh Yee Ching
President
Oversees and charts the strategic direction of all events, initiatives, and corporate branding of the NSTC. The President is also the Club's and NIE's representative in the NTU Student Union Council.

Vice-President (Projects)
Partners the President to oversee all events, initiatives, and sub-clubs under NSTC's purview, with a focus on planning and execution.
Claudia Yap Neng
Vice-President (Administration)
Partners the President to oversee all events, initiatives, and sub-clubs under NSTC's purview, with a focus on administration and corporate liaison.
Meet The Team
Kenneth Kwan Yu Heng
Honorary General Secretary
Manages internal governance and work processes of NSTC, and oversees administrative work within NSTC, and in partnership with NSTC's Sub-Clubs.
Phoebe Moh Hui Ting
Honorary Financial Controller
Manages the Budget of NSTC and its sub-clubs, oversees finances of the club and any finance-related administration, with a focus on financial management and long-term budget forecasts.
Chua Wei Jian
Student Advisor
Maintains the continuity of information from the previous Management Committee to the next, and advises the President.
Cheong Zi Xin
Corporate Communications Officer
Responsible for NSTC's public relations, outreach channels and social media content creation.
Lim Qun Hao
Corporate Liaison Officer
Partners the Special Project Officers and Welfare Officer in liaising between event organisers and external organisations for coordination of events and resources.
Teo Yi Qing, Jaylyn
Publication Officer
Editor-in-Chief of the Club’s publication, VOICES. Works in partnership with the Corporate Communications Officer on matters related to publicity and branding for NSTC.
Brian Chew (Zhou Yikai)
Special Projects Officer
Oversees any Special Projects and Events Committee (SPEC) assembled for the purpose of organizing Special Events, acting as the liaison between NSTC, the SPEC, and NIE administration. Currently, he is the Chair of the NIE Orientation and Planning Committee.
Vivi Yeo
Special Projects Officer
Oversees any Special Projects and Events Committee (SPEC) assembled for the purpose of organizing Special Events, acting as the liaison between NSTC, the SPEC, and NIE administration. Currently, she is the Chair of the NIE Graduation Initiative Planning Committee.
Eythan Ong Tzeng Junn
Sports and Recreation Officer
Oversees all logistics under NSTC’s purview, manages the teams under NIE and contributes to the planning for the annual Inter-school Games (ISG), and other sports/logistical matters in relation to NSTC.
Tristan Sim Yih
Welfare Officer
Oversees welfare events organized by NSTC, and manages special projects organized under any Special Projects and Events Committee that cater for the well-being of the NIE student community.
Lee Wen Li Ella
Union Representative
The Union Representative is an elected member of the NIE student body who serves in the NTUSU Executive Committee. The Union Representative assists the President in representing NIE in the NTU student body.
Sarah Nur Shahirah Bte Fazal
Integrative Executive
Serves as a representative of the PGDE cohort and supports the handover between NSTC Management Committees.

Finance Executive
Partners the HFC in overseeing the finance matters within NSTC and its sub-clubs.
Vishvar s/o Muthu Veeran
Publications Executive
Partners the Publications Officer in overseeing the publications within NSTC.
