To mark the start of the new year, NIE’s Chinese Language Education and Research (CLEAR) Club, organised the Chinese New Year Celebration 2021. This event was held virtually on 10 February 2021 and included many exciting performances.
Apart from the virtual celebration held on 10 February 2021, to promote the festive spirit in campus, our club prepared goodie bags for student teachers. These goodie bags included mandarin oranges, snacks and a booklet of Chinese New Year well-wishes.
Despite the COVID-19 regulations, the event was successfully held by our club members. The event took place on Zoom and had a large turnout. The event was graced by Associate Professor Chang Chew Hung, the Dean of Academic and Strategic Development.
Through this event, we brought the school community together to celebrate the start of a new year. We hope that the celebration was enjoyable and informative for all participants.
